The Birthstone series will feature images of the main gem linked to one of the twelve months. The art of Alphonse Mucha will be used on the obverse and the reverse will feature images of mining or other images representing the gem. The country featured is based on the mining output of the gem. The two zodiacs for the month will be shown on the obverse as stars in the tradition of Omron rings. The custom strip will be stamped using colors of holographic foil.
Traditional gemstones will used to represent the month in most cases.
Modern will be used on some months.
