The Fido Fighter
The Fido Fighter
O-Rith Reeqi was born in 4972 to O-Rez and O-Vidi Reeqi. At 17, O-Rith attended the Acadaplex of Fine Art where he met O-Talia Veechi, who would later be helpful to the young artist.
But first, O-Rith took a detour that no family member or friend expected. He joined the Wargadons and became a Flightnaut aviating fighter frigates in the Orb Koop Rebellion. O-Rith was valiant in his fido-fighting and was awarded several High Priest Medals, which he never officially received until after his retirement. His one brush with death came when his frigate was hit and he crash landed trying to make it back to base. He was not seriously injured and fought with the arriving mediteam and was forcibly taken to a mediplex where his death cheating luck was extended by meeting the beautiful meditech, L-Von Ci Feebi. Within a year they were married and his fighting days were over.
Surviving his war assignment, he then parlayed that trade into commanding Cataloadon frigates to and from Applious Gostay (OKg MS P6) for several mining companies. While in this position, he jumped on an opportunity to invest in a small mining company, Wakarki Mining, which would later sell to a larger conglomerate and O-Rith and company would make out well financially.
When L-Von finally asked him home, O-Rith returned to Blissdane Naïve, and decided to get back to his love of art. It was almost a given that his friend, O-Talia would make calls and get him into the Mujand Monetary Reserve. In her last years, O-Talia watched his every step and consulted with his first design, the Early American Writers series, commissioned by the Goldfi Nites. O-Talia died before she could see it completed but O-Rith paid her homage by placing a tiny denomination print somewhere on each portrait. “She would have loved that,” said O-Rith of his mentor.
